INFORMATION PURSUANT TO ARTS. 13-14 OF THE GDPR (GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION) 2016/679

Adesiva srl, Data Controller, informs you that your data will be processed as described below and for the indicated purposes.

The Controller undertakes to protect the privacy and confidentiality of Personal Data in compliance with the principles of fairness, lawfulness, transparency, and protection of your rights.

1) TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED

We process personal data you provide (name, email, company name, phone number, etc.) when you send spontaneous requests, as well as data automatically collected by the website.

  • Data you provide: personal, identifying, and non-sensitive data you communicate to make requests via email, contact form, or telephone about our products/services.
  • Data we collect automatically: anonymous data collected using cookies or similar technologies; for more information, see the Cookie Policy below.

Note: Users under 16 years of age cannot provide any personal data without parental or guardian consent.

 

2) PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASES OF PROCESSING

We will process your personal data:

A) to fulfill our contractual obligations; respond to your information requests; provide a quote you requested; execute sales contracts of products or service agreements; ensure necessary assistance related to purchased products and services.

B) to perform aggregated anonymous statistical analyses to improve our services;

C) for administrative purposes and compliance with legal obligations such as accounting, tax, or to comply with judicial authority requests.

D) in case of sending resumes, solely for recruitment purposes.

 

3) IS PROVIDING DATA MANDATORY?

Providing your data is always optional, but failure to provide it may make it impossible to carry out certain processing, such as those strictly connected to fulfilling a contract or providing requested services.

4) LOCATION, METHODS OF PROCESSING, AND RETENTION PERIODS

Your personal data are processed through the operations indicated in Art. 4 of the Privacy Code and Art. 4 no. 2) GDPR, namely: collection, recording, organization, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking,
communication, deletion, and destruction of data.

Your personal data are stored at the Controller’s premises and are processed both in paper form and electronically and/or automatically with logics strictly related to the purposes indicated, always ensuring data security and confidentiality. The data you send are not saved within our website.

The Controller will process personal data for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes above, and in any case no longer than 10 years from the termination of the relationship for purposes under point C, and no longer than 38 months from data collection for purposes under point B.

5) DATA ACCESS

Your data may be accessible for the purposes indicated in point 2 to:

  • employees and collaborators of the Controller, as internal processors and/or responsible persons and/or system administrators;
  • third-party companies or other entities (website providers, cloud providers, e-payment service providers, suppliers, hardware and software assistance technicians, shippers and carriers, banks, professional firms, etc.) carrying out outsourced activities on behalf of the Controller, as data processors.

 

6) DATA TRANSFER

Data will not be disclosed, sold, or exchanged with subjects other than the Controller, processors, and appointed personnel without your explicit and express consent.

7) YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to know which personal data of yours are being processed. In particular, you have the right of access, rectification, deletion, data portability, restriction of processing, and opposition to processing, if applicable.

Below is a brief overview of the rights recognized regarding the processing of your personal data.

  • Right of access: allows you to obtain confirmation of whether your personal data are being processed by the Controller and, if so, access to such data and related information;
  • Right of rectification: allows you to obtain correction of inaccurate personal data concerning you without undue delay and, considering the purposes of the processing, to obtain the completion of incomplete personal data;
  • Right to deletion: allows you to obtain deletion of your data without undue delay (e.g., when your personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected), subject to exceptions under applicable law (e.g., when data retention is necessary to comply with legal obligations applicable to the Controller). Deletion will be carried out within the technical times provided;
  • Right to data portability: allows you, in certain circumstances provided by applicable law, to receive personal data concerning you, which you have provided, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. You may transmit these data to another Controller, provided this right is recognized by applicable law, except where it could harm the rights and freedoms of others;
  • Right to restriction of processing: allows you, in certain circumstances provided by applicable law, to obtain restriction of processing of your personal data. In such cases, the Controller may continue to process your data only in certain cases, for example, to exercise the right of defense or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person;
  • Right to object to processing: allows you, in certain circumstances provided by applicable law, to object to the processing of your personal data unless there are overriding legitimate reasons or rights or freedoms permitting the Controller to continue processing;
